With over 14 years of experience as a massage therapist, Carmen is the heart and soul behind Intentional Wellness & Massage in Bend, Oregon. Carmen is deeply guided by intuition and a profound understanding of the human body, which allows her to pinpoint areas that need the most care. She believes that one area of discomfort is often connected to another, and her holistic approach to massage therapy addresses the body as an interconnected whole.

After graduating from the Advanced Massage Therapy Program at Central Oregon Community College in 2011, Carmen began her healing massage journey. Her extensive background includes clinical and injury treatment experience from her time working in a chiropractic setting, as well as refining her skills in restorative and rejuvenating treatments at Sunriver Resort’s Sage Springs Spa before opening her private practice. This unique blend of clinical expertise and spa-quality care informs her practice today.

Over the years, Carmen discovered that her intuitive touch addresses physical discomfort and resonates with her clients' energetic bodies. She combines her expertise in various modalities—including Reiki, Craniosacral holds, Sound Healing, Myofascial Release, Acupressure, Thai Stretching, Gua-Sha, Cupping, and Access Bars—to balance the body’s energy and physical form. Carmen believes that integrating these diverse techniques, along with tools like the Far Infrared Biomat, allows the body to harmonize its own healing process, leading to profound and lasting relief and transformation.

What sets Carmen apart is her commitment to Intentional Healing. She purposefully brings an intention into each session, allowing the body to inform where stress and tension have taken hold. Through her unique blend of traditional and advanced techniques, she facilitates deep relaxation, healing, and a true retreat from the stress of day-to-day life.
